DDC Converters 2.0 · what's new
What's new in DDC Converters 2.0
Six products, one line: RVT Converter, RVT to IFC, IFC to Excel, CAD Drawing to Excel, Data Viewer and Excel Add-in. No Revit or AutoCAD needed, and every file gets a report instead of guesses.
Windows 10/11 x64offlineinterface in 20 languages
- 504real drawings in the DWG test set
- 95.9 %of records converted over the test set
- R12 to 2018+AutoCAD versions supported, AC1009 to AC1032
CAD Drawing to Excel
CAD Drawing to Excel 0.4.1: 504 real drawings, 95.9 % of records converted
CAD Drawing to Excel 0.4.1 reads AutoCAD files from R12 to 2018 and later, with no AutoCAD installed. The figure is the share of records converted across the whole test set; the report for each file says what was converted and what was not.
- Formats
- AC1009 to AC1032 (R12 to 2018+)
- Test set
- 504 real drawings
- Records converted
- 95.9 % over the test set
- Writes
- XLSX; optional CSV, JSONL, DXF, SVG
- Damaged file
- refused with a message, no partial table
A damaged file gets an error, not a half-filled table
Every run reports how many records were decoded, and lists the unsupported and refused ones, as in Fig. 2. A file that is not a valid DWG is refused outright and nothing is written for it.
- DXF and SVG. Optional DXF and SVG output next to the workbook for checks and reuse.
- Batch processing. Folders, queue, cancel. Results go into new folders and never overwrite earlier results.
- Visual check. Open the result in DDC Viewer in your browser: layouts, layers, and the properties of each entity.
Products
Six products, one line

IFC to Excel and RVT Converter
IFC to Excel 2.0.0: one workbook, objects first
Open IFC and IFCZIP models as compact Excel workbooks: objects, property sets, quantities, materials and spatial structure, one row per element.
A 10.9 MB model converts in about 42 s to a 9 MB workbook. Reads IFC2X3 and IFC4 as .ifc and .ifczip.
RVT Converter 2.0.1: Revit files without Revit
Read Revit RVT and RFA files without Autodesk Revit: element properties and categories to Excel, CSV or JSONL, plus geometry for review.
The report states the detected file version for each file; elements with issues are listed, never filled in.
DDC Viewer
Check the result in DDC Viewer before you trust the table
A local, offline viewer that opens in your browser. Check DWG layouts and layers, IFC and RVT models in 3D, and the properties of every element. Free, included with every converter.
- 3D navigation
- Orbit, pan, zoom, view cube, perspective or orthographic, first-person walk.
- Sections and isolation
- Section plane and section box, hide, isolate, X-ray and colour by any property.

RVT to IFC 2.0.1: IFC2X3 or IFC4 from an RVT, without Revit
Export Revit RVT models to IFC2X3 or IFC4 for openBIM workflows, coordination and model checking, without opening Revit.
- IFC2X3 and IFC4. Choose the schema your coordination or checking software expects.
- Openings and relations. Openings and wall relations are written where the source is unambiguous; ambiguous cases are excluded explicitly.
- Units checked. Metre and millimetre models are verified before writing.
Supported scope: check the IFC in your target software before production exchange. More on the RVT to IFC page.
Excel add-in
An Excel add-in for working with model data: import RVT, IFC and DWG models through the DDC converters, check parameters, build dashboards and compare versions. Windows 10/11, Excel 2016 or newer. The download is not code-signed; Windows may ask you to confirm on first start. Download and install steps are on the Excel add-in page.
